In a tiny world below the ground, two colonies have been on the brink of war for years, skirmishes on the borders and espionage tactics keeping them on the edge of open battle but never quite falling into all out military action. But the winds are changing as the Queen of South Colony begins to take moredrastic measures to set xirself in position to take over the North Colony from the inside. In the midst of all of this, new colony members will rise to the challenges- Liza, a newly assigned scout discovers that South Colony may not be the only enemies to fear, while young drone Alix will discover that all is not as it seems at home either.
This is a story about anthromoporphic ants at love and at war… and sometimes, at both.
